First, I know! I know! You do not have to say a word....Where I come from? I just pop up randomly, but I had to talk about this show.
So tonight after coming home from work and school I was laying around my house and thought to watch some television ( I don't watch as much as I use to) and somehow I caught this show RIGHT as it started...Let me say even though this is just the second episode and I missed the first episode, I loved it! This was so much different than the shows where the women come on with little to no confidence, with woe is me lifestyles. Now don't get me wrong, I will admit I have those "woe is me" moments, but to see that as EVERY show that has to do with plus size/ curvy women is a downer. I give kudos to TLC for making a show like this (now them keeping the show would be even better) because you don't see it often on T.V., plus size women that actually love themselves inside and out.
Now I’ve been reading a few blogs and websites talking about this show and how its crappy, the girls are a bunch of whiners and they are not showing us anything about good places to shop and things like that. Personally I feel that there is an 85% (give or take) chance that all plus size women shop at all the same places and the others make their own clothes. The one episode I watched they went shopping a Re-Dress, but this isn’t all about fashion. I feel they made this show to show that plus size women are humans and normal people too… they do everything that everyone else does.
So tell me… What do you think about the show??
